On Thursday, April 27, 2023, Ambassador Olivier de Preville of the Sovereign Order of Malta to the Republic of Niger was received by H.E. Riccardo Paternò di Montecupo, Grand Chancellor in Rome, to inform him about the geopolitical situation in Niger following his meeting with the President of the Republic and his numerous exchanges with the resident ambassadors in Niamey.

He also met with H.E. Fra’ Alessandro de Franciscis, Grand Hospitaller (in the presence of his Chief of Staff, Mr. Ivo Graziani), to share his project for the reconstruction of the National Sickle Cell Reference Center in Niamey, Niger.

Finally, he had a meeting with H.E. Ambassador Giuseppe Morabito, Diplomatic Advisor to the Grand Chancellor for Africa.
